Very good catch, and exposes a huge contradiction-

A perfect being cannot make a mistake.
Since the God of the Bible admitted to a mistake, namely us, he cannot be perfect.

I bet no Christian answers the question directly.

i think of the thought is that there is a God and that there is one in all these element as sin. besides, there's a concept that God is holy, with the aid of fact of this God hates sin and would not tolerate it in any respect. So human beings have a loose will, and their movements could be in keeping with God's holiness or it may't be. this is a decision that a loose individual makes, and that individual is held in charge for their movements. yet another concept, that it appears that evidently such as you do no longer point out, is that God is likewise in basic terms. this implies God ought to punish sin. He can't look any incorrect way or in basic terms permit it pass, otherwise God is in a roundabout way crooked. So the flood replaced right into a punishment. perhaps a greater advantageous question is, "Why would not God proceed to flood the Earth on the instant?"

No but He should have, IMMHO. I mean, he created us for His pleasure, in His image and all some of us do are pick and whine about everything including His existance. That sure would p*ss ME off enough to blast them all out of the water. Its funny how people blame God when things go wrong, then deny His existance. Its also funny how people go to their knees when something major and traumatic happens and yell for God. Its even FUNNIER that people who claim to not believe in Him talk about Him so darned much...

How can you be a truth seeker and a liar at the same time?
It was the people's deeds that made God sorry. Not His own. Only an extreme egotist, deceiver or God-hater would refute God's perfection.

He said he was sorry He ever made them. Not that He did anything wrong. Because He can't do anything wrong.
