Okay so, I got brand new contacts yesterday and they are my first contacts I've ever had. So of course when I was trying to put them in at my eye doctors, it took a little while...and...I had a hell of a time with my right eye. So when I couldn't get that one in I decided to try to put in the left one ...no problem with that one....so then we went back to the right eye, a few more times, I got it in, and then she said okay now take the left one out, and easily I got it out, then i put it back in, and at this point my eyes were really red and itchy and still getting used to the contact....about an hour later, my right eye, was really white...but my left eye was still really red...and right underneath the colored part of my eye is just a big red spot...so I take my contacts out...and go to bed, I wake up and the red spot is still red and gross...what is it, and what do I do to fix it??? Sorry this is so long, haha I like to tell stories :~)

Your eye is just not used to being messed around with so much. You used to just put on your glasses and be done. Now you have to hold your eye open and put then contact in. So of course your eye will be red and irritated at first when you just get your contacts. The same thing happened to me! Continue to keep using your contacts, but if your eye becomes REALLY EXTREMELY red or it hurts terribley to put them in take a break and go back to glasses for a while.

Now if u can still wear contacts
but its just kind of hurts er whatever I sometimes put a nice cold
washcloth over my eye, lay down, and watch Tv. If conditions don't
improve see your eye docter. : ]
