I really want to do something worth doing in summer 2008, u know , like helping out orphans in africa or being a leader at Camp America...any thing like that. something that doesn't cost me to do althoough i dont mind payin for my own flight (obviously).

I want an experience that i will always remember, and at the same time makingothers smile but other than the two I just mentioned, I'm not aware of any or where to look. I've searched the net but I'm still stuck.....any ideas any one?

Thanks :) x

I don't think you have to fly off somewhere to have an experience you will always remember. You can do that in your own neighborhood. Habitat for Humanity always needs workers. Red cross needs volunteers. Your church"s youth program needs help. Your elderly neighbors need visits. Hospice needs volunteers. Working mothers need help with children out of school. Give the kids something to do and you will get smiles. Most are so bored over summer vacation, maybe you could take them camping, fishing, or swimming. I can't think of anything I would rather do if only I didn't have to work!! Good luck on finding something that is just right for you!

Go to Australia and work with Aboriginal Communities. See how They are treated and the conditions under which They exist. Then go and tell of what You have seen.

Craigslist has a volunteer area, if you keep browsing through that you might find something interesting. Good Luck!
