...if so could that explain why we find lots of blueberries (full of antioxydants) where forest fires happened?

i think it can prevent fire,becoz as we know oxygen helps fire to burn ,and any combustion need oxygen supply.so antioxydant may prevent fire.Maybe the tree trunk of the plant is dry and contain mostly dead cell,and the total suface area of tree body is large than blueberry,than the antioxydant in the fruit is not enough compare to prevent fire.weather also consider as a factor.

Um, no. Biological antioxidants prevent enzymatic oxidation at the cellular level but have no power to prevent direct oxidation that occurs in fires. Blueberries just prefer post-fire soil conditions. You're confusing cause and effect.

Blueberries evidently find post fire soil conditions optimal.
