Can you open a file that you made from powerpoint 2007 to 2004?
or any other lower version that 2007

Yes, but if you used some features in 2007 that are not available in 2004 then they will not load. I would suggest keeping your presentations basic or trying this ahead of time to minimize problems.

Generally, you cannot go backwards in opening files. Going back from a 2007 version to a 2004 version is going backwards. But, I don't have Office 2007, so I can't say for sure. Aa converter is required to open older versions. I assume you'd have to get the converter from Microsoft.

I would say only if you convert it in Powerpoint 2007 to a 2003 compatible file. The same kind of thing seems to apply to Word 2007 as well.

you have to first open up the 2007 document.. put your mouse over save as, and it will come up with a list... click on 97-2003 document, and it will save as an earlier version and at the top it will say (compatability mode) next to the title

or you can click save as, and then use the scroll down list next to save as file type: to find 97-2003
