I am because if God does exist, why does he not stop people in poor countries such as Afria and India starving and living in poverty?

I know someone on her will say something about the debt owed by them to the Western word, but surely, if God stands for miracles, why has he not intervened and flourished the land with vegetation and clean water?

What are your thoughts on this?

I was around Christians for a while. They're just as sinful as everyone else - talk behind peoples backs, look down on others, think about sex often, drink or do drugs, etc... they just try to keep it more hidden than others. If God exists, he has no real followers anyway.

The land was flourished with clear waters and vegetation.... However factors such as Global warming, which may i add, is due to human fallibility has effected its decline.

One can refer to eastern theories in regards to karma. To explain such misery in the world. However do not be a coward and place blame on God. The action of placing blame on others is offften done by humans but one needs to take action rather than complaining. Take responsibility for ones actions

I'm an agnostic I feel that I'm not sure if God exists or not. I haven't seen any proof to prove that he exists or doesn't exist so just feel we can't sure what is out there. Might be he doesn't intervene on our life's because we have free will, but I'm not really sure. I heard other people say it. My friend believes what ever we think becomes our realities. Like if you think positive positive things will come in to your life if you think negative that's what you get.

It is this society that's causing people to live in poverty, suffer and starve to death. If there is a god, then he's probably looking at us and shaking his head in despair. Human hardship is caused by human behaviour. All the world's problems could be resolved in a very short time by simply changing the nature of society.

I am an atheist because I have yet to see any objective evidence for the existence of deities. I do not believe in things for which there is no evidence of their existence.

I am an *agnostic* atheist because I think it is impossible to empirically test the supernatural, and therefore there is no way to pursue that objective evidence in support or denial of the existence of things like gods or spirits or ghosts. Knowledge about something supposedly outside of time and our definition of reality is impossible.

Why am I agnostic - simply because deities have no real proof as to whether they exist or don't exist. I think the likelihood is that they do not; but I work in science and that has taught me to keep all options on the table until you empirically disprove them.

In this case no miracle is required. Mankind could easily see to this problem.

Greed and apathy are the only things preventing the solution from being implemented.

What takes place in this world does not influence my views on whether a higher power exists. Life is what it is.

There just isn't any proof one way or another to convince me that there is a higher power or there is not. So, I stay open to all possibilities.

As a deist I do not believe that God gets involved here.

When we decide to come here we choose most of the circumstances and events of our lives before we even get here.

I am agnostic because of the absence of verifiable, conclusive evidence for the existence or non-existence of a divine being.
