I like the King James or New King James. What do you like the best, and why?

becuase it has been translated the least times and tranlated nearest to Christ's time.

The New Living translation. It has been translated from the original Greek scriptures into plain modern English. The King James version is written in 16th century Old English. Words and sentence structure there, are different then our modern day English. Words that are not used today will be difficult to grasp the meaning of in that version. You can compare for yourself. Read verses from the King James and the New King James and then read the same verses in the New Living translation and you will see for yourself,how much better the New Living translation is.

The time honored King James Bible - which I would like to see a minor revision done, like they did in 1789.
The Greek that is used is the best and was the most widely used Greek in the early church. The modern versions tend to use a corrupt Greek manuscript, cortex B - which was found in a trash basket in Egypt.
There are those which exaggerate and claim the King James can't be understood because it was old English. Most of the Bible is in every day English, with only a handful of words which can often be understood by the context. In fact the use of "thou" and "thee" is helpful in understanding the plural vs. the singular.

New World Translation because it is our modern day language just as the KJV was in 1600. Though poetic, the language of the KJV is difficult to translate and understand today. It is more important to understand what the message is than to admire the pen strokes.
It has proven to be very close to the oldest manuscripts of the original text. The fact that KJV bowed to pressure to remove the Divine Name of God did not happen with the NWT. That name was meant to be used. Psalms 83:18 tells us that name.

There can be no "reliable" version of the work of fiction called the bible. Originally written in Ancient Aramaic, then translated into another now dead language, Ancient Greek, then into a third dead language, Latin, and finally into vulgar tongues the bible is the work of numerous authors, and has been subjected to massive editing to ensure that it only says what the church wants it to say.
The number of distortions, contradictions and historical errors that are empirically proven contained by this vessel of evil are superbly documented. That's not even to start of the moral decrepitude of most of it's writings.

I presume you have formed this opinion because you speak fleunt Aramaic and Greek.
