Happiness is just an emotion of the moment... but Joy is something that can fill your heart in good times and in times of sorrow... and the only real Joy is that which I found when I accepted Jesus as my savior.

21 years of what? I've known the Lord for a little over 21 years and I am still happy, my relationship with Him is great.

21 years old? When I turned 21 I was too stoooopid to know how good I had it.

21 year of marriage? I thank God for my wife of 15 years and I don't think another 6 will change my happiness with her.

21 years of drinking and drugs? I was/am happier now that I am clean and sober for 21 years! (I drank & used drugs 30+ years).

21 years is just the beginning!

BTW, Abe Lincoln once said "You are only as happy as you want to be".

Umm....what Linda said.

Happiness doesn't stop, unless you let it.

At 21 people tend to feel the need to start organising and planning for what they want out of life...which is a really good thing - unless you let all the new responsibilities weigh you down. If your not happy with your life at the moment...then change it! You can you know - it's your life.

You can (and should) always find the time to do things that you love and that will ultimately make you happy - no excuses. Life runs a lot more smoothly when you take the time to do little things for yourself that make you smile. Even the crap that you don't want to do doesn't seem that bad.

Just keep smiling :)

Happiness might have stopped for you at 21, it stopped for me at 14.

Believe me - it doesn't!! Many 21 year olds would like to think it does but at 21 there is stil so many of lifes experiences to be had.

Don't go through life worrying about age and judging levels of happiness according to age - be happy whatever age you are at.

What????The best years of your life are not before 21...they are after. Happiness is when you learn about life and know what is up and what is down......before 21 everything is self....when self is all that is important then a person is never satisfied...

Mine didn't and I left 21 behind a long time ago. We are happy if we decide to be happy.

Happiness can never be lost! Because it is your very nature, all attempts to attain it are really leading you away from it. To "think" that it can be obtained really means "I don't have it!Being here in the present moment- fully aware brings the experience. Mind keeps happiness just out of your reach. BE HERE NOW!

Life is what you make it, if you are starting each day by saying that life is getting you down and oh woe is me. THen of course, you are going to get exactly what you ask for. I have not had such a happy life, but I wake up each day, saying show me the error of my thinking and help me to change the record for the positive. Read the Power of Positive Thinking, its good....Peace and Love
