So I was dating an older guy because I though he would be more mature. Anyhow he ended up being, a lying, cheating, *** just like the guys my age. Now I understand that Im better off without him, but still my pride is a bit hurt. Yesterday he calls me and tells me that him and the girl that he cheated on me with are now a couple and are gonna give it a try. Now me trying to be sensible about the situation, simply responded “well best of luck to you, and I hope it works out” When I said that I heard the other girl in the background yelling its gonna work. Now Im not upset that he called to tell me that, Im upset that she was in the background. What do you think?

Shake your head and laugh it off. The man sounds like a first class boob! I wouln't be surpised if his new girlfriend doesn't work out in the long run either. Obviously she is gloating in the background that she stole your boyfriend, i bet she deserves him too! lol. So now the challenge of stealling the boyfriend is done and over with, now she is stuck with him.I wonder how long it will take before they get bored without having that challenge or the trill of cheating. Count your blessings that your not with him. You can and will do better. Good luck

He obviously either had you on speakerphone or her right there with her ear to the phone. What kind of cretin does that anyway? How old IS this guy?
Chalk it up to a consider-the-source pair of idiots. She's a jerk and they deserve each other. If he cheated on you with her, he'll do the same thing to her.
I applaud you remaining calm when he called. All his new girl did was make a fool of herself. I will never understand chicks like this. They think they come off superior, but in truth are pretty pathetic. Consider yourself lucky you aren't in a relationship with this guy and move on. They'll self implode later and deserve every moment of it.

I think they both insecure and need to grow up. Obviously, they are not as happy as they would like you to believe or they would not be wasting time trying to get to you. Simply do not allow it, move on with your life, ignore his calls. He obviously did you a favor by cheating or you may still be connected to this looser. Live and let live and move on with your life. God will send you a good man one day... There are a few left unmarried in the world. God bless****

I know the feeling. Maybe it bothers you that it might work for them when it didn't work for the two of you. Things work out for the one that cheated and lied when you were the one who did things right. Be strong, move on. It probably won't work out because he's a liar and a cheater.

I think you need to let it go and move on. I've dumped and have been dumped more times than I'll ever admit to. It's a painful but necessary life experience.

I would have wished them the best of luck. It sounds like they deserve each other. If he treated you so badly why would have even taken his call. It sounds like he is a jerk and who needs to keep jerks around.

Trust me they both deserve each other they are simply pissed off because you are single and happy.. Ignore them they obviosly have some issue if they are as happy as they clam why should they call you. They are both cheap and deserve each other.
