My 2 kids.

Nothing.

Even if I believed in God, if I was grateful to Him for my looks (for example), I'd also have to consider that my looks are only remarkable with reference to less attractive people, whom God evidently short-changed so that I could feel good about myself. What kind of a God is that?

The universe makes much more sense if you get rid of the idea of "God."

Maybe I'm just good-looking because my parents were, because of their genes. Physically attractive specimens have a better chance of passing on their genetic material. It's not "fair" to the less attractive losers; but we're talking about an impersonal mechanism. It's only when you personify and deify the forces of nature that you run into trouble, because "God" will inevitably come off as a heartless Monster.

I am grateful that you will learn humility some day. and don't claim to know GOD cuz u don't. U don't know the WORD OF GOD that says pride goes before a fall. and you can surrender your heart to JESUS and be grateful that HE died for all of mankind that includes you. That GOD would come and die for us, that is a very humbling concept. think about it. and GOD didn't give u looks ur parents did, so be thankful to ur mom that she made u with ur dad.

Pride goes before a fall. You will not have that 'extraordinarily handsome face' forever. Enjoy it while you can.

There is no logical and scientific proof for the existence of any gods, so I thank none for anything. One can just as well thank Ahuramazda, Amon, Allah, Brahma, Baal, etc., etc. as YVHV or JWHW the god Moses invented. Why waste time thanking imaginary non-beings?
