Ah...the thing is, you need to look at the OPPORTUNITY cost of the Mars Bar - to say that it cost 45p is too simplistic - it cost you what you could have done with the 45p had you not spent it on a Mars Bar. I bet you didn't realise that you could have adopted 1/35th of a badger for a year.

about £2 as you have to walk to the car therefore wear and tear on your shoes, drive to the shop, using petrol and wear on tyres. then, when you are in the shop, you see something else you want
