Has anyone been to Gurney's Inn?

Gurney's Inn in Montauk is a fashionable place given that's it is in Montauk and not the village of East Hampton. Since Montauk is about 15 minute drive from the Hamptons, meaning East Hampton, not Southampton, Westhampton, or Bridgehampton, stay in Montauk. The Montauk Yacht Club is pricey, but there are plenty of places to stay in Montauk and almost everywhere it's family friendly. As far as NYC, same story. If you could afford the Marriot in Times Square, that's the place. There are also more expensive hotels and less expensive ones. Yet Marroit and the Hyatt at Grand Central is nice. So is the Roosevelt Hotel near Grand Central.

There are some great apartment style hotels throughout the city (as an alternative to just a room) where you get a kitchen, seperate bedrooms, etc.

marriott marquis in times square
marriot east side(about 3 blocks from grand central train staion)
go to the wax musuem in times square...the toys r us also in times square and ride the ferris wheel(my sister is 12 and had so much fun on it)m&m store....hershey store(all in times square)....soho....little italy....china town
