Even just for laughs?

In KY... That's got some ironical amusement. Maybe I would visit, but only if they let me in the back door.

Perhaps I would stand outside and ask people to estimate how many multimillion year old fossils they think were displaced to lay the foundations, or how their cars work since multimillion year old gasoline obviously cannot exist.

The creation museum is staggering in it's lies, and that's before you get through the door.

Id rather watch one of the Monty Python films - more reality especially the 'Life of Brian'. Because he isn't the Messier he is just a very naughty boy'. And it ends with the most hopeful song ever.

Oh and good point BlueOctagons, if we are all going to be forced to believe in the nonsense we might need to know something about it. Although it does not stop the Creationists pontification on evolution - a subject they blatantly no absolutely nothing about.

My mother and my kid sister live in eastern Kentucky, while my oldest sister lives in Houston, and I live in san Francisco. I will soon visit Mom, but I shall certainly not go to the creationism museum. I have read about it, and that is more than enough. I will not pay to see such offensive nonsense.

I might. It isn't too far from where I live (easily a day trip) and I think that 1.) it's going to be hilarious and 2.) we really do need to try and understand what that community of people believe. They are trying to change the curriculum of our public schools to teach their beliefs on the origin and development of life, after all.

I sort of hate giving them my money, though.

A very good idea. I've always heard idiots like to visit museums to make themselves seem smart.

I might stop in and check it out when I go down there to pick up a trunk load of moonshine, but only if it's free to get in.
