How would you punish the person who raped you if you had the opportunity?

they would be subject to the law of the land... as for me, I would forgive them and teach them what the ultimate Forgiveness is all about

The best option would be surgical removal of the genitals. It's a shame that the law doesn't allow this. Next to that, imprisonment would be good. The rapist would get more than his fair share of being raped in jail.
Far more important than punishing the criminal is to get over it for yourself. Otherwise you are simply continuing the crime against yourself that the rapist started.
The act of 'forgiveness' is redundant - if you cannot let it go then saying forgiveness is empty words, and if you can let it go then forgiveness is no more than an affirmation.

I would throw them in a prison that has people with life sentences for a fortnight or a month. see if they like being fresh meat then throw them into solitude for a year with nothing but books of self improvement and moralistic values. then I would keep them in a boarding house give them an education and a chance at a better life.. if they re-offend I would have them castrated, if they rape a person who is under 18 the 1st time I would have them castrated and imprisoned. no second chances with raping a child or older teen.

I was just giving advice to someone who wanted to know about if it was wrong to dislike someone. i think the same advice should be used here. pray for your enemies. This may be hard for you but in the end doing the right thing is not always clear in the beginning. gl

I do not know actually. I have come close (by dominating men and women alike) and I haven't sought retribution. BUT, if it ever happened to someone I care about I would be going hunting.
