You need to install Java Runtime free from www.sun.com, because most web sites use Javascript instead of Active X.

In the internet options you have to enable this options to view some of the programs sites on the internet.
Tools - Internet options - advance in thiis settings you have to enable.

just go to tools,internet options and click security in the tab window then click the trusted sites,then go to the custom level of the trusted sites and go thoroughly all the options in that you enable all java and activex controls related columns,
follow the same steps for the restricted sites also.

Did you just install NoScript for firefox? If you did, you'll see a big S with a cross through it in the bottom right corner. Click it and set to allow.

Try this go
control panel >> internet options >>security >>set security level to default.
Now go internet options>>advanced >>restore defaults ..
and now try to load the page.
