Hardly. No matter how evil or powerful a created angel is it still exists within the dimension of time and still has no power other than what God who has all power has given to it.

Since God exists outside of the boundaries of time, He cannot be fooled or outsmarted or surprised by some plan of the enemy. Neither can the enemy do anything that God doesn't have the power to work together for good. As it is written:

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn?

Christ Jesus is the one who died--more than that, who was raised--who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

As it is written, "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered."

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Everything God creates is by default, subject to the Creators wishes and power.

Since the Creators power and abilities are infinite, anything that is created will be limited in existence and never fully above the Creator. Hence, the premise is faulty.

Similar to the example of a painting done by a human being. Can it be more than what a human being is?

I LOVE this paradox. Let me put it another way, though. Can God create a rock so heavy that He cannot lift it. If He can, He is not omnipotent because he cannot lift the rock If He cannot He is not all powerful because He can't create the rock. Now either way, it seems that this question proves the non-existence of God, especially the Christian God, right? Wrong. The Christian God is made of three equal parts. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God the Father can create a rock that God the Son (the Son is human) cannot lift. Since they are both God at the same time in a very literal sense, He at the same time can and cannot lift the rock. Christianity- 1 Athsism- zip.

No because God doesn't create evil. Can He create an angel with the inborn potential to do so? He already did. Man lost paradise because God was unable to shield Adam and Eve from the sinful enticements of Satan.

Granted, Jesus ultimately sacrificed himself for the sins of man, but not for a large span of time.

Can the creation prevail against its Creator??

But besides this, God has all power over His creations because He has Made all power and Has all power in heaven and in earth.
He is in, through and above them all.
He is from Eternity to all Eternity - one eternal round.
Standing in His presence, we would instantly wither into nothing.
Could a devil or an angel possibly have such power, even if we wanted it to??
Also, as a known principle of life itself, wickedness cannot prevail over goodness and righteousness for very long.
One thing we do learn in life is that Good will always prevail in the end.
Evil may appear to have a small victory in the interim, but it is short-lived.
Eventually, truth surfaces and conquers all.

There is and never will be anyone bigger or better than God! He is the author and the finisher. The begining and the end and as I like to believe he knows everything so creating something above the power of himself would be something he would know before hand.

can you ask a question that is not a variation of the standard philosophy 101 questions you learned at the community college?
But, to answer this sophomoric question, No, God could not create an angel so evil that even he could not protect us.

Maybe the key for the end of these types of questions would be for some of the participants of answers, to refrain from drinking while they type.
My hope is that someday it will be the same penalty as drunk driving, to be drunk typing. They should put breathalyzers on people's computers, so that they would have to have their kids blow into the sensor for them to get on line.
