It is most times very frustrating for the "haters" to come in here and make little comments about the inked community, when the bottom line is that I have my own reasons for each of the 25 tattoo's that I have, none of those reasons being that "I think it will make me look cool." So unless you take the time to get to know me, and ask why I have an angel on my leg, or a dragon on my chest etc. then you are just passing judgement and trying to make yourself feel better about your own short comings. It is a shame the stereotype that surrounds having body art. My tattoo's do not make me "stupid" or "cheap" and in all actuality true body art is rather expensive. I have never been in prison, I do not have a Harley and NO I dont have a light for your cigarette. I am just simply me.

Tatoos are a expression, permanent and something I personally dont agree with. Im a artist and have been requested to design several and had to turn down the money. If they were semi permanant and could be removed in a day or two like nails then i wouldnt see any harm. there is no image that can be engraved on your body that can permantly ascribe to who you are as a person.
God bless and take care.

I feel that my tattoos are a way of personal expression that are able to tell a little about myself. I have two right now but I think once you get one you get addicted to the ink and the more you want.

its a unique expression that pretty much tells a story by illustration. for example, i have a beautiful little boy who i call my lil monkey....
i got a tatt of a monkey with my sons name on it.. its beautiful and its something t hat means a lot to me. he will be 2 next month and he knows that its for him but he doesnt understand what it is, except a monkey so he likes to touch it and go "monkey"

good for you....its sad that there are so many that think tattoos are bad...they are not , they are an expresstion of ones self...a memorial to a love one ...or they can be just because they someone thinks they are cool....for me my tattoos have a personal meaning

glad to know that our answers were informative and passionate enough to atleast let you know that we aren't mindless zombies getting tattooed because we think it'll make us "cool".
