LOL Think about it seriously. There is a man that lives in the earth who has a pointy stick and sits around and gets his jollies watching you be bad. Then waits to poke you with his pointy stick. dancing around poking people damning their soul. Common Serously......does he know when you are naughty and nice. or is he the one that delivers eggs around my house in the spring. I cant get my fictional characters straight.

The Bible explains that God Created many, many spirit persons similar to himself. In the Bible, these spirits are called angels . Also they are called 'sons of God'(Job38:7 ; Psalm104:4)God createed them all perfect. Not one of them was a devil, or a satan. The word 'devil' means slanderer and the word'satan means opposer.
The time came, however, when one of these spirit sons of God made himself the Devil, That is, a hateful liar who speaks bad things about another. He also made himself Satan, that is, an opposer of God. He was not created that way but later became that kind of person. To illustrate: A thief is not born a thief. He may have come from a good family, having honest parents and law abiding brothers and sisters. But his own desire for what money can buy is what may have caused him to become a thief. How, then, did one of God's spirit sons make himself Satan the Devil?
The4 angel that became the Devil, was present when God created the earth and later when the first the first human couple, Adam and Eve(Job38:4,7,)So he would have heard God tell them to have children.(Gnesis1:27,28) He knew that after a while the whole earth would be filled with righteous people worshiping God. That was God's purpose. However, this angel thought a great deal of his own beauty and intelligence and wanted to receive for himself the worship that would be given to God.(Ezekiel28:13-15; Matthew4:10) Instead of putting this wrong desire out of his mind, he kept thinking about it. This led to his taking action to obtain the honor and importance he desired.
The lie the Devil told Eve worked just as he planed. She believed it and so disobeyed God. And she was able to get her husband to break God's law also.(Genesis3:6) The Devils claim was that humans can get along without God. He argued that people can rule themselves successfully, without God's help. The Devil also claimed that he could turn away from God all those who would be offspring of Adam and Eve.
The passage of time has proved that humans cannot rule themselves successfuly without God's help. Their attempts have failed completely. The people have suffered terribly under the governments of men, which, as the Scriptures show, have been controlled from behind the scenes by the Devil. Also, God's allowing time has clearly shown that Satan has not been able to turn all persons away from worshiping God. There have always been some who remained faithful to God's rulership.

God did not create evil. He created free will. Evil is a choice someone makes. In Satan's case, he chose to be above God. Oh, by the way. God wins.

God knows all! From the moment you are born to the end of eternity so there for freedom of choice is misleading because all of your actions have been pre ordained from the beginning of time! Satan had no choice but to follow his role in the game of life, Christ was destined to be crucified before he was ever born. To say god is evil would be wrong? To say you have a choice would be wrong? We all have choices we are allowed to make as we travel down the road to our fixed destination! So since the beginning of time he knew just how much room he would need in heaven and how gigantic the lake of fire would have to be! God works on a level well above humans and to view him as we would a human would be sinful! God is above the law!

If "God" is all knowing and all seeing as the bible suggests then he would have known before he created satan that he would turn in him and rebel? Right? Then essentially he is responsible for all that is wrong with the world (If he truly exists I mean). He could have prevented all of this stuff from happening but nope he stands by and lets his "flock" murder and torture each other. That whole "God doesn't give you anything you cant handle" crap is overrated and over-used.

Man created both god and satan as a way to wrap the tiny human mind around the caos that is life. Also to controll the masses and pilage the pocketbook.
religon is mindless superstition and pointless rituall.
If humans looked around instead of up the world might be better off.

Hello and God gave each one of us something that is the most dangerous to Himself He could give and that is choice, Love CAN "NOT" be love if its not free to say NO, angles as well as people have choices, but when sin first happened NO ONE except God new the full range of evil that would be the results, folks looked at God, and IF He had destroyed satan on the spot then everyone would have served God out of Love, He does want our fear [respect] but it MUST be won out of Love, IF you Love Me keep my commandments Jn14:15, therefore God did not created satan, satan created satan, because satan is a liar and the father of it Jn.8:44, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com via email not messenger, God bless

simple answer

there is no god....... so thereby evil wasn't created by a non existent being.

but some people would like to blame their behaviour on evil or satan where it is really themselves or their circumstances that are to blame - nothing else - as it is a choice a person can make and a path they can decide to travel down if they desire to [not recommended that they be that stupid...]

This imaginary god is responsible for an awful lot of evil on this rock in space. I can think of any number of religious wars that caused death and destruction in this non-existent diety's name. Not to mention all the religious zealots that murder and maim based upon their "conversation with god". So, I'd say the answer is YES..god is responsible for a great deal of evil!

Who told you GOD created evil?

Do you create your own enemies? Do you ask someone to come and rape you or murder you or steal your property?

Do you ask someone to do evil for you?

Then how can you even think about GOD in those lines?

You a mere mortal would not do it so why would the Supreme who only wants the best for us?

Very perceptive of you.

That has been the bases of my argument with many in the past. Some simply refuse to think before their chosen faith puts then on instant defensive and shuts down their ability to give a logical answer.

You are correct from the c to the t.
