It is not humanity which is threatened by the truth, but Satan. Satan is the one who is "the god of this age" and the majority of people in it. The truth is very threatening to Satan as it tends to disrupt his control and influences of the naturally sinful ways of humans. The deceptive influences of Satan are real and he is not about to give up his strangle hold on the souls of mankind without a battle.

It threatens this old wicked system with all its corruption, greed and lies. The truth is God's Kingdom will soon wipe them out of existence to clear the way for goodness to flourish.
Those people who have made their life's work to steal everything they can and all the power over others they can are terrified that it might end. They think to stop people from talking about that truth, then it will not happen. They are wrong.
For good people of all the earth and for those who have died without ever hearing the truth, it will be glorious! The dead being resurrected to an earth free from war, famine, disease and work to do of turning the earth back into a paradise; how much better could it get? How about living forever in perfect health? How is that for universal health care?
This truth is great for the common man and woman; but, awful for for those who pinned their hopes on this old system.

There are plenty of threatening truths that people will go a long distance to avoid facing.
Possibly most common: *not* going to a doctor with a problem for fear it's something really bad. Yes, it's totally ilogical, but it happens.
In a religious context, many here have expressed that without belief in God they would consider life to be without meaning.
"No God " to them would indeed be a threatening truth.
(just the concept... leaving the actuality either way to one side)
A classic one: you know a meteor strike (or similar final disaster) is about to wipe out humanity. No survivors.
Do you tell the public? It's only the truth...

I would say the truth can be quite daunting at times. To see the truth you have to get past all the lies that have been layered to hide to the truth.
And when you find the truth others will invariable deny that you have the truth because it might make them wrong.
There is also the 2.5% of society who actively seek to hide the truth and attack anyone who seeks to find or reveal the truth.
Man thats a lot of truth, truly.

Imagine you spent your whole life believing the trinity was true.
At age 60, you learn it was all a preposterous lie.
That means you've spent 60 years believing a lie.

Universal Truth has eliminated religion from Spirituality...
If you have Created Your Relationship, then there's no threat;
but...
if you're in a religion, then your religious beliefs are threatened by the Truth because people who are still in a religion are brain-washed/brain-dead and unable to understand the Truth...
