which of those do you think is the best? ill be using it for scuba diving. of course with the underwater case. thanks.

If you'll be using it underwater, I think you might want to consider the A640 for its larger sensor size and likely better low light image quality - not to mention having 10 MP to play with in your post-processing.
The F30 has a very good reputation for low-light performance (Note the sensor size...) and I see they claim ISO's up to 3200. This suggests that the camera can be used at 2 EV lower than the A640. You might prefer to have the 140 mm tele end of the A640 than the Fuji's 108 mm (equiv.). The Canon macro is 1 cm instead of 5 cm, also. This might matter for some stuff underwater.
Go here and read the reviews (I'm sure you have.) and look at low-light sample images.

I think fugi is great . i also like anything nikon . I love the new nikon d40 and would love to have one . good luck and happy scuba diving .
