Because God is still in the business of saving people even though none of us deserve it.
"Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, "Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation."
For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished.
But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:3-9

The Bible is true, and it says that God did not create the earth simply for nothing, but he created it to be inhabited by righteous mankind forever(Isaiah45:18)so this is why we are still on earth.

The Bible is like a guidance for life, there full of stories/ parables on how we should live our life so we can be rewarded in heaven.
The Bible doesn't saying anything aboutthe fact we shouldn't be here, lifes a tester if we follow God and his commandments then we will be with him in the end.

This is where we belong.
God was so loving to make a beautiful place like the earth for us..we need to thank him by cleaning it up and taking care of it.
Man was made for the earth and earth for man.

He's waiting for all who will to come to repentance.
One day, of His choosing, He will slam the book closed and the age of grace will be over.
2Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We're here to serve God's purpose until we die and then we continue to serve Him in heaven.
Who told you we shouldn't be here on Earth?
Jesus Christ hasn't had His second coming yet.
