In 4 - 5 billion years the Sun will enter a red giant phase and either the Earth will be engulfed by the expanding outer layers of the Sun or as some new research suggests, mass lost from the Sun earlier in its red giant phase will cause the Earth's orbit to move further out, preventing it from being engulfed. However, Earth's water will be boiled away and most of its atmosphere will escape into space.

Yes I do believe so, because I am Muslim and the Quran tells us the following:
Among the duties assigned to God's Messenger of the Covenant was unveiling the end of the world. We learn from the Quran that this world will come to an end.

"We have adorned everything on earth, in order to test them, and thus distinguish those among them who work righteousness. Inevitably, We will wipe out everything on it, leaving it completely barren." 18:7-8

"When the horn is blown once. The earth and the mountains will be carried off and crushed; utterly crushed. That is the day when the inevitable event will come to pass." 69:13-15

We also read in the Quran that a new earth and new heavens will replace the present heavens and earth.

"The day will come when this earth will be substituted with a new earth, and also the heavens, and everyone will be brought before GOD, the One, the Supreme." 14:48

This is clear proof from what I believe that the world will end.

Now think of it logically I dont think it will remain forever, I mean it is here to support us and if we aren't here then theres no purpose for it here.

Well , this is what I believe.

If stars come to an end, then some day the sun (which is a star) will come to an end and that will end our world.

The Bible and some scientists say the world will end one day; when the sun will stop shining. But there's a problem: The Bible says life will continue for those who believed in Christ while scientist say that will be end of all life.

The world we know will. Nothing is forever.
Most likely there will be some kind of natural disaster that will change the face of the earth and destroy mankind.
Life will go on though but in a different fashion.

God has allowed enough time to pass to prove to all living creatures that His way of ruling is the best.

So now he can bring on the Great Tribulation and cleanse the earth and Armageddon to cleanse the heavens.

Don't be surprised if it comes like a thief in the night, when you are unaware.

Live every day as if it were coming like a tidal wave...stay awake.**

Yes, the world will be replaced with a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. The lion will lay down with the lamb.

Yes it will someday down the line but it will be because we as human beings have helped destroy it and it's ability to heal itseld, because we as human beings are idiots and do something stupid like let off a barrage of nukes or because the sun goes supernova and takes out all the planets with it.
