Universal Truth, with capital letters? Sounds like a belief, a spiritual belief at that, to me.
I don't know how to divide religion and mythology myself, but there are some broad categories we can accept. Animals that have not been seen outside imagination, such as hypogriffs and unicorns, belong in mythology. On the other hand, anything that can get up the resources to build large and impressive buildings, and have lots of people show up at least once a week, has to be considered a religion if it wants to be. The Ethical Society, for example, would qualify with regard to buildings and people, but does not wish to be considered a religion.
Harder is the spirituality part; some of what I consider spiritual another would consider mythology, because I am a polytheist. I don't mind. I'm a witch, and I once had a psychologist tell me I don't exist, which was an interesting experience. I expect a good many people would consider me deluded, but I just consider myself to be practicing a religion.
Different strokes for different folks. Put your question in the category which implies who you feel should answer it.

One mans religion is another mans myth. I find it hard to categorize certain questions concerning spirituality in one of the other catergory.
I would be interested on how you define "religion", because as far as I can perceive it, religion is basing morals and actions on ones spirituality.
I would be also interested in how you define a "universal truth". I believe that such a thing cannot exist as long as there is more than one mind defining "the Truth"

I would argue that religion is a SUBSET of spirituality...there is some spirituality in religion, however, it is not the "big picture". Truth is rarely visible by everyone at the same time; none of us are so wise and all-knowing as to be able to say...for sure...this, or that, is TRUTH. "Universal Truth" cannot, by definition, "eliminate" anything...ALL is as it should be...in this moment. IMHO...:)
Namaste!

No I don't think R&S should move to Myths and Folklore
As to your postings, it's quite annoying to read trough, and you can't possibly be serious... if you are why not make flyers and print them, try to give them out and... um.... good luck with your new cult.... or whatever.....
you must be bored?
