I have no idea how to preserve small chunks of vegies and chilies in liquid. i think it is vinegar or a mix similar? Also need a sweet chilli chutney or relish receipe. Can anybody help???

I can tell u recipy of apple and mango chutney.The procedure for both is same..Take 2 apples and cut it into pieces.Now take a pressure cooker and get is steamed to make is very plumpy..after steam,take it out and mash it with hands and remove its seeds.Then put a container of water on the gas and also put equal amount of sugar .Then boil it together(water & sugar).when the liquid becomes thick,put that mashy apple in the container and stir it continuosly for 15 Minutes.Then turn off the gas amd keep the jam/chutnry in fridge.
