Your iPod and USB cable woldn't be a problem (the USB ports all conform to the same spec). I've heard of people having problems with iTunes if they try to synch their iPod on someone elses machine, but since I don't use iPods personally (I prefer Creative MP3 players) I can't comment on that too much.

If you're using a charger for any device, you will need a plug converter, and possible a step up / step down power converter - the transformers for most devices usually have the volateges they can handle written on them - find out what the country you're going to uses, and see what you'll need before you go.

Your Ipod and usb cable is compatible with all computers. I am traveling constantly and sometimes carry my lap top. The power converter is deliberately designed to use all voltages in any country that I have visited and I have been to most countries. I have stopped carrying my lap top with me because Internet cafes are everywhere now. You can be a hundred miles from nowhere in the Lao out back and you come around a corner and theres an Internet shop. As long as you are just playing or down loading your Ipod you will have no problems. don't sweat the small stuff. You are going to have a blast.

First, for your computers, you must know that different countries use different voltages. And sometimes, different plug size too.

I don't think your Ipod and USB Cable are any different from any part of the world. Only the computer that I could think of.

Don't worry about it! The usb is universal , so you'll be able to use it on any computer available.

If the original user already has a library of music in the Itunes program, it'll notice you if you would want to sync with that computer's library, and you'll have the option of not syncing it and keeping your music.
