I might not be able to answer your question right because I don't go to Church...And I have another Religion based on Satanism but If In fact even being Satanic I still believe there is some type of God for each person in the world even if the thought of it is your own or based in fact of around the world....I really do think Church is a mass brain wash in some way....I mean from when you grow-up from a little child and even as adult you are not forced but told of what a religion can become of you and all word of wisdom...not to go on the bad side of anyone's feelings but it's what I think....!

No, a god delusion is believing you ARE god. Most churches do not say that. However, now that you mention it, pantheists DO say that you are god. The "mental health" issue is like this:

Unhealthy: "I am God. Bow down to me."

Healthy: "I am God and so are you. Bow down to no one."

delusions are everywhere... and usually indicates the absence of god, not his presence
