Firstly no Christian is a soldier - what Jesus might say is:
Matthew 25:21 - His lord said unto him, *Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. *
God says:
Ezekiel 33:11 - Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
and as Christians must have the Spirit of God:
1 Corinthians 2:16 - For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
then how could any Christian "feel delight" at seeing anyone in agony, particularly a fellow creature and particularly as they themselves have no inherent goodness to distinguish themselves from their fellow creatures???
but *if* saved it will be by solely by Grace and through Christ alone not through having "basically behaved" for no man has ever done so. The only example I can think of is the theif on the cross who believed at the last gasp - and was saved and he had not "basically behaved" - he was a thief.
Why wait until the final day?

All information taken from the Bible:
Important events happen at the end of the millennium-(this is after the second coming of The Lord and the saved have lived in heaven with Him for 1,000 years.)
-Rev.20:8 God has resurrected the wicked from all ages and in number they are like the sand on the sea shore.
-Rev21:1,2 I saw a new holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, .
-Rev21:9 Satan gathers all the men and women and forms an army to attack the Holy City"they marched across the breath of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people"
-Final Struggle-Armageddon-The army rushes toward the holy city "but fire came down and devoured them" This is hell. The ultimate fate of the wicked. It cleanses the earth.
The universe now sees that the lost were destroyed because of their own choices.
I needed to provide a clear picture of the final events so that you understand that neither God or the saints will enjoy such suffering of the lost. During the millennium you will wonder why a loved one or a friend didn't get saved. You will be able to review God's decisions. It is difficult for us to imagine the sense of loss of those who look at God and realize they will never enjoy life with Him.If anyone enjoys such a moment, then they do not belong in heaven.

Jesus HAs returned.
And HAS said to become active in preaching.
The atheists. as usual, have " taken no note"
(Matthew 24:36-39) “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37Â For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38Â For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39Â and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.
We will not see another flood, but when Armageddon occurs, it will not help to try and hide.
(Luke 17:34) I tell YOU, In that night two [men] will be in one bed; the one will be taken along, but the other will be abandoned.
(Luke 17:35) There will be two [women] grinding at the same mill; the one will be taken along, but the other will be abandoned.”

For God [The Father] "SO" Loved Atheists that He gave [Jesus the second member of The Godhead gave Himself] that WHOSOEVER [even believes] should BE-LIVE in Him [even satan according to James 2:19 believes in God, and trembles] should not perish but have everlasting life,
John 3:16, and if your the kind of person who enjoys the idea of delighting as you put it in the fact someone won't be in Heaven then its a real danger cause you yourself won't be in the right resurrection. I would be amazed that a carpenters son had come back and decided to call me a soldier. Plus i do not think i would go as hell sounds a lot more fun. Although if he's willing to bring the wine he could join me.

I will not fell delight seeing the atheists agonizing during the coming of Jesus Christ.
You know, many religious people are like Atheist. This religious people accept that they know GOD, they read Bible and go to church everyday. They say "I love Jesus and I believe in Him."
But when they are out of the church, they are showing their wickedness. They did not listen God's word. They have not notice that.
If you believe in Jesus - do His will and love him. You can't say that you love God if you hate your brother/enemy, and everything.
They are not Atheist in the eyes of the people.
Atheist did not believe in Jesus. This is one of the deadly sins. If they have a chance to be change, I think Jesus will forgive them.
All people during the coming of Jesus will be judge according to their deeds.
Christian people can't save atheist.
Christian people can't save their own soul.
A father can't save his children, a wife can't save her husband, children can't save their parents.
I can't save myself, I don't know where I be going, whether in heaven or hell.
Atheists and Christian's people judgment is now. If you will die today, could you repent your sins?
Better if we are still alive in the coming Jesus, and better if we will repent our sins.

Folks that delight in other's misery, will certainly not be floating up into the heavens. Not today, not tommorow. Of that I am certain.
People who actually care about the world, as God does, will stay as long as God desires. As Paul wrote about.

Aye, I don't want to be abducted by Jesus (you make him sound like he's going to do a mass alien abduction btw). I think I'll stay right down here on Earth if you don't mind.

You can believe whatever you want. Many don't want to be with a God that called pedophiles to the priesthood and never intervened while they were molesting children. I think that it was one of God's greatest mistakes. It devastated the Catholic Church when it paid out $1.5 billion in lawsuits.

Hmm... you have to wonder how "good" a Christian could be if he delights in the pain that he believes another might feel. Not my kind of people.
