We have all been in this situation and some are faced with this daily. Please explain & state if this also prevented you from seeking God where you have judged Him because of the actions of man.

i've been an agnostic or atheist my entire life, and none of it was based off of followers, it was all based off of religion itself
and my only problem with some religious people is their desire to shove their beliefs down my throat. the ones that accept my beliefs or just leave me alone, i have no problem with.

Since you said "what about them" rather than hating them, I will answer.
Proselytizing. It's not respectful of another person to tell them they are going to hell or whatever if they don't believe the same as you. And it's tiresome and annoying.
But I don't hate religious people, even Christians. I will use the old cliche and state quite honestly that some of my best friends are. Even good friends right here on Answers.

I am a religious person, but not a Christian. I hate no one. I ceased being a Christian because of God's actions, not mans. I am smart enough to realize that you cannot judge the many follower of any religion solely by a few harsh zealots who believe it is their right to condemn anyone who disagrees with them.

I don't hate religious people. I just think that as much as people might not like that fact we are here and we are all gonna be gone one day it is better to face up to it, accept it and enjoy life. I thnk religious people know this anyway really but pretend not to. 'Seeking god' as you put it, is simply accepting the delusion.

I hate them because they think they are made by the god and the are born for them only. Each an every thing the do they think that god has pre-disided for them.
Think that i or you are born to an family. after giving birth our parents leave us any where till that time we are such aged that we do not know any thing even name & religion by the time we are growing with no religion because god did not set our religion as he gave us our fool body.
The maker and follower of religion are people them self.
Religion is nothing just made by a people belives

religion is manmade, you have lifestyles. I myself subscribe to Christianity, and I think of it as a lifestyle, not a religion. Do I attend church? yes, but I see it as an enhancement.
I can see what can turn pple off, from "religion", well, in essence, you can't force it you can share it, but you can't force it. pple have to be WILLING, that's why GOD gave us free will, he doens't push it on you, pple do, he shares it and whether you accept it it's up to you.
AND no you shouldn't judge pple. Do I think homosexuality is a sin? yes, will I treat them any differently? no, because GOD wouldn't he would love them despite their choices/feelings. GOD doesn't hate pple, he dislikes ALL sin
