Nope. I would not need to. I already did my military time from 1986 to 1994.

If a draft was started, I would politely suggest to anyone that they do the honorable thing and answer their country's call to service.

No, but I'm over 50. But ask the illegal immigrant if he would trade citizenship for a tour of duty and this border invasion would go WAY down. I asked my illegal neighbor whose son is of military age what he'd do if his son was drafted. He said he'd just send him to Mexico. Doesn't that stink? Gets all the bennies and he's not willing to support the place that supports him and his food stamps. I think we need a draft, even in peace time. A couple of years in the service for some kids might be just the thing to make them better citizens. A policeman, upon pulling over a traffic violator, should also ask for a draft registration card along with license, proof of insurance and registration.

No ,I am too old now any way and that is crap. If we are really at a war that our national defense is at stake every one who can shoot should be able to be called.
I would suggest the USA quits being policemen to the world if we go the rest of the "free" world should be coming with us.
If the enemy is invading here I will be there with everyone else with my own gun defending Mother Liberty

NO; I already served in Iraq in 2003 and I am willing to go again; i joined the US Army because I WANTED to serve, not because I wanted to have the benefits and get a paycheck like some did and when war came, they decided that they did not want to go and went to Canada. In my view, anyone that runs away to Canada is a coward and should resign their US citizenship permanently and stay in Canada.

We don't need cowards in our military and we don't need cowards in our population.

The answer is definitely "no", why because you're country is calling you to service it's armed forces, and the call of the mother land is the greatest offering you could provide in one's country. Hypothetically why pack my bags and settle in Toronto? For me serving one's mother land is the ultimate sacrifice you could offer, as JFK said in one of his speeches "ask not what your country can do for you...but ask what you can do for your country.."

And being a man I think it is one of our duty to serve, not to be serve. Imagine I am not even a US citizen, what more a citizen of the United States, escaping to Canada just to evade the draft? I will not flee or kill myself just to evade the US military draft, even if i went home with one limb or even one eye.

I would go to war. Everyone has to go. What makes the person who leaves so special. If you run away your basically a coward. What about all the other people who fought and died. Will you just abandoned your country when they have given so much to you. I love America. It really self centered to just run away because your scared. Being scared of the war is not wrong but running away from the war is. Everyone is scared of the war but they don't just run away. So, no, I would not flee to Canada. If I think it is wrong for what I am fighting for, I would say something about it and but... I would not run away.
