This sounds weird, but it works. I use it for my bikini area. Put deordorant on your legs after shaving - it stops them. I don't know the science of this, but it works on my bikini area, so I don't have to let it grow to get it waxed.

Take a quick shower and shave before bedtime. This allows your skin to recover while you sleep.
Make sure to use a new razor. Most blades or disposibles are only good for 5 to 10 shaves at the most. After that they become dull and pull the hairs too much before cutting them, causing irritation.
Do not press the razor against your skin, let it glide lightly.
When done shaving put lotion on to sooth your skin.

Exfoliate really well before shaving. Make sure you have adjusted to being wet and naked and you don't have any more goose bumps coming up. Try shaving with baby oil with aloe in it and put it on right after shaving to moisturize and the aloe helps with irratation. Also, take your time and don't press the razor to hard against your skin. I use the intuition razor with the soap built around the razor so it goes on before and after the area is shaved, get the one for sensitive skin.

To help get rid of the bumps you already have try Tend Skin. It really works. I think using hair conditioner to shave is the best advice I ever got. You really have to exfoliate using the loofah gloves and use them every day. Next you need to moisturize your legs every day after you shower. I found Biolage Body is really good but whatever you like best, just make sure to moisturize. BTW, if you are prone to these bumps, even if you wax you will still get them. Because you have really sensitive skin you have to keep up with a routine that works.

What has worked for me is exfoliating the dead skin off before I shave. I use exfoliating gloves. You can find them at a drugstore or The Body Shop. Your legs will feel very smooth after exfoliating before shaving. Make sure you moiturize your legs after or they will get itchy. Oh I forgot to add, use liqiud body wash because soap is very drying.

usually its because of the razor..bic razors r the worst try a triple or quatro bladed razor and minimize pressure..but since thats not the problem try one of those cream body washes...like olay or caress instead of soap or shave cream...if that doesnt help...put lotion on your legs but FRAGRANCE FREE lotion...try aveeno with oatmeal...or eucerin calming cream...or a type of cocoa butter

Well you should have your shower first, then shave just washing it off with warm water. You should really leave your legs soap/perfume-free for 12 hours, atleast! It happened to me and i started to get sort of a rash on my legs but after i tried this method it really helped.
but you should try asking your doctor.
