Heaven is a real place where God will wipe away every tear from the eyes of the redeemed. No one living in Zion will say, 'I am ill'(Isaiah33:24)There will be no more death, mourning, crying or pain for the old things have passed away.(revelation21:4)No longer will violence or destruction ruin your land.(Isaiah60:18)Just peace harmony and love.
A place where real activities will take place(Isaiah65:21-23)Our hands designed by God will build and create freely. We'll be able to produce anything we can think of! And our energy will be renewed week after week.We will be able to travel anywhere in the universe. Picking out some area of knowledge, we will be able to learn every thing possible about it, for we'll be able to use parts of our brains that we never used before.
But the most important thing is being able to look directly into the eyes of The Lord.(Rev21:1-4;22:1-5)These are the eyes of the One who dreamed of you in His mind, then called you into existence. The eyes of the One who filled your lungs with your first breath and every breath that follows. The One whose power keeps your heart constantly beating.
Those eyes once closed in death so you could share this moment in heaven with Him.
Yes, nothing will ever compare to the joy of gazing into the face of your creator and feeling such gratitude-of realizing that because of Him your heart will never be empty, your body will never be weary, you will have eternal life.

I would service the cloud making machines.
Check out Culture_warrior - what a frikkin' bum! You don't get no welfare checks in Heaven!! Get to work.
So Gregory L,
You are saying we are all puffs of smoke up there with the clouds I will be helping to maintain? How the heck will anyone find one another? Clouds and puffs of smoke are not easily distinguished. Maybe that's what Heaven really is - not having to run into your mother-in-law. Use the cloud cover.

No need for jobs or hobbies. You're in Paradise with the Creator of the Universe.
What more could you want? :P
EDIT: No, really. With all the crap you had to endure during life and you FINALLY make it into Heaven without even being sure of what you were doing was the right thing... I don't know about you, but I'd be pretty stoked and just take it. :) *lol*

Poet.
The heavenly doors let in the souls
that wander after life
they seek the light and loving
and can forget about their strife...
Their God will sure await them
For each their own in heaven city
I will walk the gardens there
and write for love and pity
I will tell each and every person
Their soul is perfect as it is
They don't need to worry
In heaven nothing is amiss.

(Revelation 20:6) Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.
This is the only job available in heaven...
Are you good enough?

IS a place of Substance. with real streets. yet is not Heaven. Cause only 144 thousand whom are virgin Saints are gettting in Heaven from Revelations. Nearest i figure is that it is a 'Transition place.

There are no human bodies in heaven, only spirits similar to puffs of smoke. Without a human body, it's rather difficult to have hobbies.

After death, my job will be decomposing.
But if an afterlife existed and I could spend it how I wanted, I would paint, learn, and pass eternity with my family.
