You're coming down with a sinus infection. You caught it early. To get rid of the symptoms, put 2 tablespoons of salt into 1/2 glass of water. Use a teaspoonfull and inhale this into each nostril. It will sting some but the infection will be stopped. To keep from getting any more, take a teaspoon of local honey each morning. It will help your body develop imunities to the airborne irritants that are in your area. You probably blew your nose too hard and created cuts or cracks inside the sinus cavities that were just waiting to become infected. Don't get hooked on nasal decongestants. They will dry up everything up there but you will not be able to get the stuff out. After a while, you'll be at the hospital getting them cleaned out with a water spray. Not fun. Been there, done that. The honey will help you from getting cold and flu symtoms as well. Natural cures and preventitives are the best for your body in the long run. No side affects, no medical bills and no long term damage to your body.

When I have gotten the headaches due to sinus issues (such as when someone gets a sinus infection and I learned this from friends who have had this happen too) it would cause me a great deal of pain and the only way I can deal with them is to sleep it off.

You can also sometimes feel drainage going in to the back of your throat which can cause you to cough.

The way to clear up a sinus infection is thru antibiotics. If they happen repeatedly I would recommend seeing an ear, nose, and throat doctor. Frequent sinus infections can mean a problem with a part of the nasal cavity call the septum when it is crooked. I have a problem in this area.

Blocked noses, discharge, head ache, pain if you press just below the eyes...

Treatment depends on the system of healing that you choose. Antibiotics, homeopathy,...
