sheeesh. looks like everyone missed the point of the question. it's NOT the difference between each theory BUT the difference between "teaching" and "propagating" over one or the other!!!

anyways, of course there is a difference. teaching about them is giving both sides on an objective forum stating the basics of each theory and the flaws.

propagating them is to tell about them as if they were FACTUAL without giving objective views or contradicting views.

for example: to teach creationism you also have to address some of the lack of scientific evidence and objecting points of view. propagating creationism is to say that God created everything because the Bible says so.

To teach evolution is to talk about Darwinism and monkeys, but to also address that there is no explanation for the big bang and no concrete proof that ALL species evolved from a spec of dust. To propagate evolution is to say that the Big Bang DID happen because there is no scientific proof of God.

see the difference?

Yes. Evolution is a science. Creationism is all about faith without any evidence. BIG difference.

Let's see.

Evolution teaches we started from nothing and built ourselves up.
Creation teaches we started up and worked ourselves down.

Evo. teaches all things happened by accident.
Cre. teaches all things were planned.
The coffee maker in your kitchen made itself from a warm countertop?

Evo. denies the existence of God and any responsibility to Him.
Cre. happened according to God's purpose.

Evo. we have to wander about ruling ourselves causing injury to one another.
Cre. says we choose our Creator as ruler to our benefit or not with free will.
