He might not want to date you, but he does enjoy being the object of your affection/attention. You kissing another guy brings him down a notch. No longer "the" guy. We girls sometimes go thru the same thing (you know... let's just be friends. And by friends, I mean, just be there to worship me).

One, because he is not a player and or he is a wussy and or he loves you and you might play with him ( his heart). he might want something extra than just dating. may be he thinks you are too easy for him to get. do not ask him these question or some answers might hurt u. ask him about his standards about dating in a funny way..you might get a clue.

Have you ever seen a baby totally disinterested in a toy....until another baby rolls up and grabs it? Then, "it's MIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNEEE", when the child could care less a few seconds ago. Men pretty much operate the same way:)

Same thing applies to "lets just be friends" when a girl rejects a guy and the guy starts a relationship with another girl.......she gets jealous.......

He either wants you himself, or doesn't want another guy to come between you (if you are already friends with him). Too often when people get in a relationship - they forget their friends!

It might be that he likes you but doen't want to screw up your friendship. Its a commin thing that happens, Also just to tell you it also means he likes you, he likes you big time.
