Whether good or bad, of all the world leaders, former leaders, and other important figures alive today, who will prove to have had the biggest impact on the course of human events?

A few years ago, my answer would have been revolutionist and former South African president Nelson Mandela.

Unfortunately, George W. Bush may ultimately be considered the most influential, but will likely be described as "infamous" for his actions.

Hmmm....

By far President Bush has set the path and foundation for what will be the 21st century. I believe at the moment George Bush is the person who is the most influential. Whether good or bad remains to be seen.

Second at the moment, I will say either Hugo Chavez or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. These guys could spark conflicts in the near future.

Bush, without a doubt. He will be remembered as a second coming of the crusades to the Middle East and probably the fuel that starts WW III
