Quotes from the Catholic Encyclopedia.
"The pope is of so great dignity and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as it were, God, and the vicar of God"
"The pope is of such lofty and supreme dignity that, properly speaking, he has not been established in any rank of dignity, but rather has been placed upon the very summit of all ranks of dignities"
"Hence the pope is crowned with the tripple crown, as king of heaven, and of earth and of the lower regions"
Moreover the superiority and the power of the Roman pontiff by no means pertain only to heavenly things, earthly things, and things under the earth, but are even over angels, than whom he is greater"
"So that if it were possible that angles might err in faith, or might think contrary to the faith, they could be judged and excommunicated by the pope"
"The pope can modify devine law" can he?
Can he actually change Gods law?

No, the Pope cannot alter divine law. He can alter the human law of the church, like laws of fast and abstinence, celibacy issues,
but never the divine law.
The Pope is the Supreme Pastor of the Catholic Church. He has to go to Confession just like any other Catholic.
Infallibity means that when the Pope, in union with the Bishops of the World, defines a doctrine of faith and morals, he does not err. This has only been done about 20 times in the past 2100 years.
Now that doesn't mean Catholics are not suppose to take the Pope's teachings seriously even when he isn't speaking ex cathedra.
Punter provided a lot of undocumented allegations. I wonder if he doesn't get the Chick tracks.
During the Renaissance Pope's did have children. Many became cardinals without being ordained. Some were ordained later in life. One was elected a pope that was not ordained and took ordination about 2 weeks prior to being consecrated a Pope.
I understand some had secret marriages. The most infamous situation was Alexander VI (Rodrigo Borgia). He was made a cardinal by his uncle when he was 4 years old.
Actually, I understand, an unordained person could still be made a cardinal but since the Council of Trent the tradition has been not to do so.
I might add that some of the Popes of the early church might have had children. Celebacy was recommended for the priesthood but was not enforced until later.
St. Peter himself was a married man.

Why does the Pope have a throne? all people has a chair to sit down down in. His chair s an particularly previous one that grew to alter into around for hundreds of years. They made chairs to look like thrones decrease back then. Why do human beings worship him? we don't. human beings have lied to you approximately this. Bow down earlier him? Bowing is a demonstration of savour. look at how the *** greet one yet yet another and how warring events in a fencing journey greet one yet yet another. we are cautioned to worship God then why do human beings worship a guy? decrease back, we don't worship the Pope. We worship purely God. have been given it? and why is the catholic church packed with such rotten historic past? Rotten human beings doing rotten subject concerns = rotten historic past. stable human beings doing stable subject concerns = stable historic past. The Catholic Church has the two. So do different church residences. is this the great fake church we are cautioned approximately in Revelation? No, that grew to alter into the pagan church of Rome earlier Constantine. The pagan church of Rome persecuted the Christians. if so what could be carried out? We pray for stable holy leaders and robust holy human beings. they are too useful to wrestle, over 1000 million followers and delivered approximately hundreds of 1000's of deaths in the middle a at an identical time as It grew to alter into Catholic and Protestant rulers who killed many human beings in the call of God. how can we wrestle the worlds biggests enterprise? Use Mozilla Firefox and Open place of work Suite those are actually not from now on commonly used questions, yet are subject-loose ones, subject-loose questions? extra suitable like rhetorical questions for which you have probably get up consisting of your own strategies for already. look up historic past the education would help all of those claims. What claims? Christ stated the church could be small and persecuted, it could't be the catholic church. Christ mandatory us all to be one church. That sounds pretty great to me. And Catholics are persecuted with the aid of way of individuals such as you. How great is "too great" for a church? a million billion? 500 million? a million million? some thousand?

He's just a man, in my opinion.
Even though I'm not affiliated with the Catholic church, I kinda miss Pope John Paul. He was cool, he did a lot of good.
This new German Pope guy irks me.

The Pope is just a man who, just like the Apostle Peter and over 250 other men, was selected by the Holy Spirit to lead the Church.
Any Christian (including the Pope) will tell you that it is God who deserves the praise.
John 21:15-17 states:
When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs."
He then said to him a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."
He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." (Jesus) said to him, "Feed my sheep.
Matthew 16:17-19 states:
Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
The Catholic Church believes the Lord made Simon alone, whom he named Peter, the "rock" of his Church. He gave him the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole flock.
The Pope is the senior pastor of 1.1 billion Catholics, the direct successor of Simon Peter.
The Pope’s main roles include teaching, sanctifying, and governing.
With love in Christ.

he is just a man!!!
that does not surprise me as I know they put him above Jesus but it is a sin to worship a man. it is very sad that they have it actualy stated as such and proves more that the catholic church is not of God.
