we are in europe and the electricity is 220 Volt and i know there is 110 what will happen to our gaggets like note book or pda while they have 220 volt adaptors?

Actually, most laptops and PDAs have adaptors rated 100-220V because people who use them travel a lot.
If that's the case, you just need a few plug-adaptors so the power plugs fit in a US outlet. Those are really cheep.
So, check carefully the input rating of all your chargers/adaptors.

im 19 from UK too, but i dont have the same qualifications, but im am about to do a computer science degree. i have had ideas of moving to the US as well. your best bet is to go to university first to get a degree. if your planning on going into nuclear engineering or aircraft engineering then the US military, Power corporations or Airlines would be very happy to take you on if you have the education. it would be best however if you get an interview before you actually move there however. additionally i should warn you that the pound is currently greater than the dollor when used in each other country. however living cost and quality is apparently better in some parts of the US. but if you move to the US, be prepared to have a hard time moving back if you decide to return.

When you get here go to Wal-mart and get a adapter in the luggage section.
