you may call it Spirit or Soul or life ...as you may like, but we have to understand that we are different from our body...
We are sons of God and hence our actual nature is eternal, and not temporary like this Body.

We are a sole that is the fruit if you will desired by God the Davine body. We are children to God for those who except this, The flesh counts for nothing it is the cocoon until we turn into a butterfly and fly away. the holy spirit entwines itself into our soul and is a protector and councilor a helper.
