Id say more clingy than anything.
He probably forgot, was having too much fun, or maybe a phone wasnt avalable.
Thats sweet though that you felt that way because it shows that you enjoy the time you spend together, even if it does have a distance.

it was just an easy way to end the conversation. I say that all the time. when a guy says ill call you back it doesnt mean right away it mean ill call you back as time goes.

there is no reason to be jealous he is just hangin with his friends... you have to learn to give him some time with his friends or he will start to think you are trying to hold him back.
