Hi, we have two different words for love.
Love - Sevgi (this is like motherly love, friendly love or love that develops over a long time, deep rooted)
Love - Aşk (This is passionate love or the love that you develop to the other sex.)
It's quite difficult to explain the difference but I hope you got what I mean.
