The point is NOT to translate. You need to learn to think in English (I know, I was in the same situation.) You'll be OK with time and practice.
What is your native language?

I have a little bit of that kind of problem like there are some sounds like the "or" and "ir" sounds that i can't say very good so my best advice would be to just practice and listen to as many things in English as possible and to take English classes (as was mentioned) as much as possible. That's the best advice I can give. Good luck and I hope I helped you out.

your writing is not bad. the best thing to do is listen to the news and report channels read the news paper where proper english is spoken and english class is also a big help as well. that is not right that your friends treat you badly. you need to get new friends. a real friend does NOT treat you that way especially if you cannot help it. they should rather encourage you to learn and help you get better. I could try the best I can. you can contact me threw yahoo answers. I am contactable by e-mail if you have specific questions on english. I can refere you to teaching sites that can help you.

I think you should just watch tv or listen to a talk radio. I've been trying to learn the language I speak at home better and I know that listening is the best way to learn. I think you should try to understand the Meaning when you listen. That's really I think, the best way to speak better, to listen more.

I also should say that I've heard "language is caught, not taught", which is why little kids can speak a language really well.

Try to be around the language as much as you can, but I think the best way is to watch tv or listen to people talking.

You sure can type and write in English pretty good. If you're really that bad at English, don't stress over it. Also, you might want to think about maybe getting friends that speak your language AND English. They could teach.
