You know, I've met Iranians, and I've met Persians. And the one thing they've really got in common is that calling them the wrong one gets them really, really angry.
So are you Iranian, or are you Persian? It's not a simple matter of geography. After all, remind everyone what Iran was called up until the Shah was deposed.
Persia was an ancient nation. Iran isn't ancient by any yardstick.
For the benefit of getting into America, I wouldn't bother.
It's full of Americans.

I know this is going to be difficult for you, as of your nationality, but there is one way. That is by getting a student visa to study in the U.K, then apply for a visitors visa for the U.S.A, but you will require 2 main things, that is- 1/ at least £1000. in the bank. 2/ A check able address in U.K and in the U.S.A. Even then its not guaranteed, as have had this problem before, with Arabic students staying with us and going to university here. You can thank Mr Bush for all the travel restrictions. You need to fill out the paper work, and you should learn to both speak and read English.
You need to go to the immigration office and get the paper work. You will also need a person that lives in America, that person will have to sponsor you. A sponsor is some one who will be willing to sign for you, saying that if your become unemployed or unable to work that they will pay for all of your expenses and such. Because you won't be allowed to go on welfare if you become unable to work.
I have a duplex and I rent out the other side to some one who is from England. He just received his green card, but he had to have a sponsor that would sign for him. His wife is from the US and her dad sponsored him. He told me all about the fact that he had to have a sponsor.

if you cant get work or things dont work out, youll only abuse their welcome and blame them for every thing.. maybe want to shoot a few americans,, a lot of iranians fell like that in the UK best you stay in the east mate // if iwas american i wouldnt be telling him how to get there..in twenty years time america will have more home grown terrorists then the uk mark my words .. on a brighter note Elvis cant half sing a song the king of americans

you will need travel to iraq or near by country, with u.s embassy and apply for visitor visa ... stay clear of israel jew get hi blood pressure and go ballistic when they see Iranian or you can contact near u.s embassy via internet for more detail.
Or you can fly to canada, mexico and enter u.s legal or illegally your choice.
