I know this is a dumb question but one of my friends tried to convince me that strippers have feelings after I said something hateful to one. I know its ridiculous next he is going to say that the earth is flat.

Thanks for clearing this up guys I thought he was kidding. I thought those drinks they order for 8 bucks that is just water and grenadine was like their battery packs. I had no idea. Can they cry also?

This is the same "Fade" who asked, almost simultaneously with this Question:

If Fade had read many novels, or even watched TV stories, he'd know that not only do strippers have feelings, but their boyfriends have feelings. Who quite often are willing to transfer any hurt from their feelings to your body.
And to whoever says that strippers must feel guilty: If it's really the least dishonorable way you can support yourself, and maybe one or more dependents, I'd hope you could get over any qualms. And resist any over-facile condemnations by the comfortably off.

The Majority of Working Girls as Strippers are just doing the job that pays the best for the talent.YES they have feelings TOO. Many are Wife Mom Soccer/Groceries.all DAY then Work at nite to make it happen.
Dancers pole/cage/top off or on. Will pay taxes each year on more than you in ten years. If you have no reguard for them then DO NOT patronize the places that have DANCERS. hang out at Dave's Bar with the other dart shooters and drink in seclusion,
Comedians made good Fodder to say Crude things to, Not Dancers/Strippers/Waits or Bar backs.

Of course we have feelings!!!!!We are still human after all.
For those who think that all "strippers" do drugs and porn, you couldn't be more wrong. Not all of us are sex crazed, and looking for attention either. Some of us actually make a really good living dancing. I myself will make up to $40,000.00 a month dancing. Just to set the record straight, I am NOT a lap dancer or table dancer either. I am a professional dancer who removes her clothes for a living. I only work in clubs that are willing to abide by my contract. In most cases the clubs are exclusively for gentlemen who can afford to pay $120.00 or more for a bottle of wine.
By the way, what was it you said that was so hateful?
If you called her a slut or a druggie, she probably just laughed it off, as she is used to this type of stigmatism. If it was something worse, then you should apologize to the girl.
Hope I was able to shed a little light on the subject for you.

While they may be using their body's to make money, it may be for a reason you don't know about. They could be totally down on their luck and its the only way they can make good money to take care of their needs. Im sure this isn't normally the case, but you should never do something like that to another human being.

no there like big business only in it for the money.. honestly, everything living thing can feel pain= everyone has feelings.. i have a Q why would you be mean to a stripper... if women had equal pay not comparable pay then we wouldn't have these problems=strippers.. so degrading.. sorry but i dont have much respect for guys that go to those places...

sorry buddy, that is a silly question, ofcourse they have feelings and i'm sure if given the chance they would prefer to do something else, its just that they do what they have to do to survive and hope that oneday they can get a break to do something else rather than strip...hope this helps and please next time you diss anyone try putting yourself in that person's shoe before you blabber anything...take care and be big enough to atleast apologise to the person you insulted....now that cool...

Most strippers have low self esteem which is why they do what they do to make themselves feel good. So these women are more likely to get their feelings hurt than others. In other words, yes they have feelings.
