There's a lot of that, but I've also seen plenty of posts by (and about) Wiccans, Jews, Hindus, Muslims, and many other groups, too.

i'm happy to talk. The declare that Christianity is extra obvious than Atheism, is a real fact in the journey that your declare is that there are for sure extra Christians than Atheists in life. although, in case you attempt to declare that the ideals of Christians are extra actual looking than the ideals of Atheists you're properly off the mark, and that i may well be better than happy to have a pass with you. Your declare that Christianity is extra obvious, consequently extra actual looking is obviously no longer supported by making use of history or the information. Brittany Spears is extra obvious than Stephen Hawking interior the clicking and in present day documentation, even though it would be a a approaches stretch to declare that she is extra actual looking as a consequence. an identical applies to Christianity, acceptance does not equate to reason what so ever. My first question may well be, which flavor of Christianity are you espousing?

Well, Christianity seems to be the most outspoken and accessible of the religions, thus the most obvious target for atheists to debate. I'm sure if some Muslims or Hindus or whoever came here, we'd debate them too.

Yes, I noticed that. Two groups of people are trying to change each other's mind on the matter. I don't think anyone is going to convince anyone else by ridiculing them or calling them names.

Yes, like the Spiritual Warfare on planet earth. Good versus evil. God/Jesus wanting that no one should perish, but have everlasting life with Him in Heaven versus satan wanting to rob, steal and destroy man so that he can take as many with him to the lake of eternal fire as possible.

You should see it when somebody like a Wiccan or a Hindu posts. Then it's atheists vs. "the superstitious" AND Christians vs. the "sinners". Go figure.

Sure. There's all that stuff on the surface.
Buut there are also a good number of deeply spiritual people of different faiths on here who get along just fine.
I'll leave it to you to find them.

It's a pity, really. Kind of like watching a train wreck, ne?
Fascinating and horrific at the same time.

Just waiting for Naruto Shippuuden to finish downloading. (You know, the version that's not sold to some American conglomerate.)

There is much of that, but there is also a smattering of Islam vs. everybody, along with a potpourri of questions about details of specific faiths.
