I guess I need to clarify my question. I've always believed that I had to believe to become a christian. And I have certainly done that. However, Jesus said that all the Law and the Prophets were about Him. And I am fully aware of the verses in Isaiah that fortell of his coming. But I cannot find a verse that says he will give us a chance or choice to be saved. We believe that we have a choice to be saved. In other words, if we believe, we get heaven, if we don't believe, we don't get heaven. There are plenty of OT that say he will save us, I can find no verses that say he will give us a choice in the matter

There's no such thing as a saviour to give you a chance to get to heaven.
1. We don't go to heaven after we die. We can only go to paradise. However, when the world-to-come is here, we will all be on planet Earth. Heaven is the administration of the universe where all the angels do their work of aligning planets and making plants grow and regulating the weather. Not a place for you to enjoy.
2. Never in the Old Testament fortell of a saviour. Yes, there was mention of Elijah coming back and Messiah ruling the world. But they are not saviours nor are they going to give you a chance to be saved. Everyone has the right and chance to be saved. This is something that God has given to us. Messiah and Elijah will only come to teach us of the proper way and to know God.
3. The verses in Isaiah was talking about Israel, not Jesus.

Read Hebrews 10:26-31. Part of it says, "For if we sin willfully after that we have recieved the knowledge of the truth, thre remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a cetain fearful looking for of judgment anf fiery indegnation, whihc shalll devour the adversaries. As this goes on, it involves having a knowledge of the truth concerning the knowledge of salvation. However, if you reject Christ and the Blood that has been shed, then there remains no more sacrifice for sins. The author of Hebrews is pointing out what will happen to those who make a decision not to have Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. There will be wrath and a fiery indignation awaiting the. So, there is a choice we have. Also, read 1 Timothy 4:1 where it says, "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith...." In the times that we live in, there are alot of Christians who will make a choice to walk away from God.

Will you please think about what you are saying. "Give us a chance to be saved"? OK, say you pray the "prayer of salvation", accepting Jesus, and then 20 minutes later you die in an auto crash. You're going to Heaven. Never mind that there was no prayer, only panic, in your last moments at the wheel. And you weren't even thinking about salvation five minutes prior. Now let's make it 10 minutes. Half an hour. An hour. A day, week, month, years, you just don't think about it. Are you still going to heaven because of that one decision you made 70 years ago but never thought about after that point? What if you die in your sleep? You're not thinking about it then, either. What I'm saying is that basically, for a good chunk of your life, you and the atheist are the same, you're just not thinking about it. And you are going to hinge salvation on one needlepoint of your life?
So, back to your question, I don't play the "chance" game with God. I don't put myself in any kind of power over him. It's exactly the opposite, he has power over me, to save me as he wills, and give me a new life in him, without me doing anything on my own. It is the Spirit working within me that makes me a Christian, not anything that I do. THAT is salvation from eternity to eternity, where we rest in God's love for us, he doesn't rest in our decisions for him. And that gives a "yes" vote to the last 6 words of your question, and a resounding "no" for the first part.

Only 144,000 will have the privilege of entering heaven
(Revelation 20:6) Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.
The promise only applied to those who were Jesus' disciples.
no one prior to Jesus; time have a heavenly future,
As to the prophecy of Jesus' arrival.
this was noted in Genesis 3;15.
(Genesis 3:15) And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel.”
Jehovah God was speaking to Satan.
The 'woman' is God's organisation. The 'seed/s' are the followers of either God's or Satan's organisations. The 'he' is Jesus and the 'you' is Satan.
Satan [ and his organisation] will 'bruise' Jesus in the 'heel' [ a non fatal wound.
Jesus though, will in turn, bruise Satan in the head. Totaslly fatal [ Revelation 20;10]
Jesus' wound [ in the heel/ non fatal] was his being put to death, but then he was resurrected to life for a further 40 days on earth, then back to heaven, where he now reigns as King of God's promised Kingdom [ Matthew 6; 9,10]
This seems a bit complicated but it matches all other scriptures in the Bible.

Isaiah chapter 53 was written about 700+- yrs before Christ. Think about the odds of somebody's life and death being foretold with so much detail.
Believe, Repent and receive
