It depends on the secret to tell you the truth. Ha! Get it? Oh well... If it's something dumb like, "Ohhh, I like so and so." I'll tell it to whoever is most likely to spread the word so that perhaps that boy will like me too. Lame, isn't it? But if it's something deeper like, "I am in love with so and so," then I will only tell my very best friend who I really trust because we have learned our lessons about rumours, lies and gossip. It's not safe. However, other people's secrets are a completely different thing. The burden of trust is impossible to shrug off without the intense weight of guilt. We do need to tell someone though, don't we? It's our oddly common human nature. So who do you tell?

Tough one but I think I found the solution. If you want a resolution to the problem and want the understanding of a trusted person, tell whoever it is you trust. Sometimes it is important to offload your worries and although secrets are not meant to be talked about, it could eat you up inside. The other safe thing to do is start a journal and tell it to your journal. I have found this the most productive - not that I have any secrets!

There is no choice of a person for telling secrets. When the mind is filled with such burden, it vomits out in one way or the other, like the hair-cutter who saw the long-ears of the King and when the King warned him sentence if he discloses, he shouted it at the ocean-banks and some trees heard it. One wood-cutter made the wood of those trees and made drums, but the drums started to utter "Kings ears are rabbits" on each beating. It is one's own selection of a person for telling secrets and there is no common choice.

Most of my secrets I tell my mom, but there are some that I only tell my boyfriend of 13 years. Because I can trust them.

Mr. Rogers because he offered to be my neighbor and he has good connections with Mr. Macfeelme. I tell him my secret and he lets me play in the land of make believe. King Friday is god there so I ask forgiveness

I tell to my best friends and anyone who will listen.
But secret secrets I tell no one that is why they are secrets. :) Only God.

My dog, because I know she won't tell anyone.
I tell my husband "most of" my secrets, however there are some things I was told by people at work that relate solely to the working environment (and that have nothing to do with me personally - they're interpersonal / interdepartmental things), and I don't bother him with those. =)

I'm the only one who knows all of my secrets. others may know a few of them, but i would never tell all of them to anyone.
