I'm kidding. Just trying to lighten up the more serious people in the crowd. And yeah, I AM a Christian. (some Christians do like to joke around, you know)

Lol! Good question. Maybe it's because there's that certain weightiness that comes with the word "hell" that "grape" or "butt" just don't seem to have.

That's what I say. I say "Butt yeah!". And instead of "No sh*t" I say, "No lima beans".
No. I lie.
The reason probably is because it has a nice ring to it. Other than that, saying "Hell yeah" doesn't really make alot of sense.

Now, that's one I haven't heard. I guess "hell" adds that extra "umph" to a yeah that you just coudn't get otherwise.

On the off chance you aren't kidding, it is because it is an expression strictly limited to "hell".
