If God wants something from me, he would tell me. He wouldn't leave someone else to do this, as if an infinite being were short on time. And he would certainly not leave fallible, sinful humans to deliver an endless plethora of confused and contradictory messages. God would deliver the message himself, directly, to each and every one of us, and with such clarity as the most brilliant being in the universe could accomplish. We would all hear him out and shout "Eureka!" So obvious and well-demonstrated would his message be. It would be spoken to each of us in exactly those terms we would understand. And we would all agree on what that message was. Even if we rejected it, we would all at least admit to each other, "Yes, that's what this God fellow told me."[2]

Excuses don't fly. The Christian proposes that a supremely powerful being exists who wants us to set things right, and therefore doesn't want us to get things even more wrong. This is an intelligible hypothesis, which predicts there should be no more confusion about which religion or doctrine is true than there is about the fundamentals of medicine, engineering, physics, chemistry, or even meteorology. It should be indisputably clear what God wants us to do, and what he doesn't want us to do. Any disputes that might still arise about that would be as easily and decisively resolved as any dispute between two doctors, chemists, or engineers as to the right course to follow in curing a patient, identifying a chemical, or designing a bridge. Yet this is not what we observe. Instead, we observe exactly the opposite: unresolvable disagreement and confusion. That is clearly a failed prediction. A failed prediction means a false theory. Therefore, Christianity is false.

I agree with your conclusion.

I finally got time to read your whole question. This is one of the best questions I've seen today.

* from me.

Christians however will not stop believing because their imagination breaks down to "mysterious ways" ultimately.

So they think, god exists and whatever disagrees with that conclusion is false. And one way or another by those mysterious tactics, they continue to choose being deluded.

The 'End Times' carries so much religious baggage that is loses definition. But, if the Truth be told, the end times began back when Jesus appeared on the Earth. 1 Pt.1:19-20 " but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ: who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was manifested at THE END OF TIMES (ages) for your sake," "else must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: BUT NOW ONCE AT THE END OF THE AGES hath he been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (Hebrews 9:26) "And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of THE END OF THE WORLD (age)?" Matthew 24:3 The age of the Law came to an end in 70 AD. The age of Grace began with Jesus, through the NEW and Everlasting Covenant. Jesus already came back 2,000 years ago as the Holy Spirit! "NOW THE LORD IS THE SPIRIT: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." II Corinthians 3:17 "So also it is written, ... The last Adam became a life-giving spirit." I Corinthians 15:45 Jesus said it would be better if he went away. Jesus said he would never leave nor forsake us! Jesus ascended and BECAME a SPIRIT. He no longer appears in that corporeal way so that he can now be IN every one of us! That was why it was better for him to go away for those ten days (to take his blood and anoint the true tabernacle in heaven) and then return on the day of Pentecost, never to leave. He has never left. He is still here. And we are not going anywhere, until God is ALL IN ALL.

hahahaha.....allow me to totally blow holes in your 'hypothesis' First of all if God were to come to you then you would not only be bowing on your face on the floor in fear and praise...You would end up giving everything you have to a devoted life of teaching the ways of God. You have totally missed the whole part about free will...God loves us so instead of forcing us to love Him, He gave us free will to choose Him or not....If He appeared to everyone and told them the truth about everything, then He took away their freewill, after all what person in their right mind would say, "No thanks God I'll take eternal damnation" So now you know why God doesn't just walk around saying "Hey guys this is what you should believe"

It is clear what God wants us to do! Pick up a Bible once in a while...Apparently you have not heard of the angel rebellion in heaven sending satan and 1/3 of the angels down to earth...these fallen angels despise God and will do anything to bring mankind with them to the hellfire that was originally created for them. These fallen angels roam the earth and twist the thoughts of man, forming other religions. the Bible has been proven as historically accurate, the Torah has been past down in the Jewish faith and made its way into the bible, The rest of the Bible has been read and reread numerous times in the original greek and hebrew by the concil of chirstians and carefully selected through the canonizing process to get the bible...most other spiritual texts where written because one guy had this 'enlightenment'...the fallen angels are the ones trying to confuse the human race, God has given us what He wants us to know...

Why is it so hard to understand that the prophets were mere man who had "Common problems" like everybody else? If they were perfect, then the facts would be a myth, yes? But they aren't. Even Moses doubted. Noah got wasted after the flood, turning into a drunk. David had an affair. These men can be related to us by the nature of our lives. And if you remember correctly, a lot refuse to listen to God when he does speak to use. To say that Christianity is false is equivalent as saying "evolution is false." But notice it requires faith to believe in either, due to the "Missing pieces..."

What you describe is very much like it will be one day. I'm truly sorry that you don't understand. There are many religions, as He said there would be. 'those with faulse doctrine'.
Christianity is very clear to me. Not on the minute details and day to day; that is something I believe He deals with us one on one.
No. He doesn't talk to us, but have you ever had a nagging urge to do or say something? He deals with us in that way and one does not have to be Christian for Him to use us, but it usually is a Christian that immediately or eventually realizes that it is something He is telling us.

The day will come when we are all in one accord and at peace with everyone. In todays space in time He wants us to love and trust on faith. We either pass or fail. He is selecting those who will be a part of His eternity. Those who will be selected are those who accept, on faith, that Jesus is the Christ. His hope is that everyone will be there but He tells us that is not going to happen.

Throughout history (old testiment) He dealt with us in different ways. According to the new testiment, we are in the last days. It began when Jesus was born. It will end when He says it is done. So "Eureka!".

You say "supreme being who wants us to set things right". I don't believe He expects that of us. He will set things right in His desired time and way. Right now, we are to believe or not believe in Jesus, totally on faith, that what He has written is true.
Some say 'but the Bible is rewritten by man' or 'it has been rewritten so many times, who is to say it is accurate?'
Personally, I cannot believe He would allow His Word (Bible) to be misleading for 2000+ years. Yes, there are those who have taken the Bible and twisted it or used it to compose their own book. But the original Bible is intact.

These are the things I know to be true. Jesus taught us many things about The Father and how we should live and what we need to do to gain eternal life with Him. That there is one way to the Father and it is through accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and that I am secure and saved. Now I do my best to live in a way that He would want me to live. Do the things He would want me to do and know that, except for Him, I can do nothing and everything.

I truly hope you will learn the truth, soon. I know what I have written here will not change your mind, but perhaps it will serve to help turn you in that direction.

God has been telling you for a long time but you reject those thoughts saying that they are just wild imaginations. Just because you call christianity false doesn't stop me from believing in God. If I can hear from Him, anyone can hear from Him. And by the way christianity is a pagan word. Check it out. I am a believer because I know Him and fellowship with Him. You can also, just be still and listen to you thoughts. He's calling you....

Gronk came out of his cave and found Splat pilfering through his kill from the night before and helping himself to the choicest morsels. Gronk!!....splat!!! The first legislated morality was introduced and executed, as well as the birth of two new words.
If God were to appear to Gronk and tell him of Himself, what do you suppose He would say? "Well, you see Gronk, because of the laws of thermal dynamics, not to mention the theory of relativity, the world......" Hogwash.
God has revealed Himself to mankind throughout all generations in accordance with man's need to understand. Rather than take pity upon the simple minded cave man or bronze age "dim-wit" you should be envying them. Much less evidence was needed to convince them of God's truth. We are so busy today filling our heads with intelligence that we completely turn our backs on wisdom. I count all of my intelligence as totally useless if I lack the ability to properly apply it to my life.
God wants every person to know Him through their faith in Him. That faith is the acceptance of His truthfulness. So many are directing their knowledge to attack rather than truly understand. The "perfect" revelation you espouse would preclude faith.
Because of the ignorance I see, my faith grows stronger.

Agreed. There is lots of other evidence; see reference. I read the long and silly presentation of the Muslim view; since the Qur'an has errors, the entire argument is vitiated. But your argument will convince no one: having made up their minds, theists are not interested in letting themselves be confused by anything as inconvenient as a fact. As we see from numerous other responses to this question.

There are three kinds of men on earth as far as understanding our faith in GOD is concerned. The first are the servants of GOD such as the Prophets and Saints. These are the 1stborn in heaven. To them, the words of GOD are clear and there are no confusion at all. The 2nd group of men are the natural men whose spirits were created from the dust of the Earth. The confusion lies here as this is caused by the deceptions swayed by satan whose spirit was created from the mud of the earth. The natural men are actually the 2nd born of men for GOD. The 1st group of natural men to be born in the spirit as they are given inspirations by THE HOLY SPIRIT. They are called prophets and saints or Prophets and Saints disciples. But the majority of the natural men will be born in the spirit n the 2nd coming of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST or in the Kingdom of heaven to come to start in the year 3500. Thus, the understanding of the words of GOD by the majority of the natural men per divine plan will not happen in their lifetime here on Earth. Similarly, St Paul when he was still unconverted made mentioned about himself saying I persecuted the Church of GOD because of ignorance and unbelief. Thus, to you, you have to pray to GOD to help your unbelief. And this is similar to the scene of a man with THE LORD JESUS CHRIST and the man said LORD help my unbelief. And THE LORD JESUS CHRIST healed his unbelief and came to believe in the SON OF GOD who is THE SAVIOR OF MANKIND from eternal damnation. Moreover, whatever imperfections that you have observed among the faithfuls or the Bible is because you are commanded to love your neighbor as yourself inspite of their errors and imperfections and thus, because of love everything becomes perfect in the spirit. THUS, THANKS GOD; FEAR GOD, PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD.

What exactly would be the point of faith, tell me. If god had only put those he knew were going to be "good" on earth, then he might as well have made a bunch of robots who couldn't think for themselves. Would you choose not to have a child just because you knew that one day it would choose to disobey you? God does makes it clear that He will make it clear as to what you are suppose to do with your life, and he already started with the Bible. You are just ignorant, because obviously, Christians have already been bombarded with these kinds of questions.
