"We are all part of the One Spirit. When you experience the true meaning of religion, which is to know God, you will realize that He is your Self, and that He exists equally and impartially in all beings."

God is an idea created by early human groups to explain physical phenomenon, the human condition (how/where/why), and to insulate one culture from competing value systems (rank, class, government).

Like most ideas, god concepts become more complex as time goes by and ideas are added to the mix to standardize human behavior and cultural change. As literate groups arose in various parts of the world, proponents spread their beliefs in writing. Many of these texts can be read today.

Some religions are monotheistic, others are polytheistic, and a few have no deity, but an emphasis on spirits or animism. Many religions also imagined that dead human beings have a soul or afterlife.

Western religion assumes that god is male, singular, omnipotent, omnipresent, and not verifiable using science. Only in the past few centuries has this belief been open to secular policies, such as the separation of church and state.

As religion is based on faith, no competing god or supernatural force has more evidence for it than any other belief.

The mystery of God is Jesus. God is defined by the Son of God, who lived the perfect life and revealed God because the things he did were of the father, he even said it himself, John 5:19.

Excellent question. The Supreme Personality of Godhead also known as Krishna, Jehovah, Allah, Vishnu, etc. He has unlimited Names, forms, pastimes. He is unlimited in six opulence's 1 all wealth, 2 all knowledge3 most beautiful 4 most renounced 5all Powerful 6 the strongest. Krishna is the source of everything, everything emanates from Him, all other incarnations emanate from Him. We have all the qualities of God but in minute quantity. Like a drop of water has all the qualities of the Ocean but it never becomes the great ocean. He is great we are small. We are his separated parts and parcels but He always remains full in Himself (meaning he is not less because we are separated. we are eternal, we never die, only this material body dies. We have free will and as soon as we envy Gods position we fall here because the spiritual world is only in cooperation with Him. WE do not get punished for coming here. We only get reactions for our actions (what goes around comes around Karma) One must understand karma, reincarnation and no one goes to hell eternally go understand the unlimited mercy and love of God. A child is born sick or poor or wealthy or healthy due to their past life actions in the material world.(karma) No so such thing as called original sin, which makes no sense. God is Unlimitedly fare. Main stream teachings of God make Him out to be less than themselves. No wonder they hate so much.God is so kind. Don't believe the lies. The Creator who loves His creation so much that He gave his one and only Son as a sacrifice in order that we ALL can be saved. Well, not as a COMPLETE sacrifice really, cuz it was only for about 3 days. And then he came back. Um, and then he rose up and joined with God and ruled in heaven. Gee, doesn't sound so bad after all...3 days? Who wouldn't be willing to die for 3 days to save the world?

What was this great sacrifice again?

All energy derived from every one around you. If you believe in god, he exhists, if you don't it is just another Santa Clause. I believe good energy generated from happy people is God. For example, if a room of happy people just complimented each other or helped each other out, the overall atmosphere in that room would be good...that energy would be god. If someone evil entered the room and started shooting people, the atmosphere would be fear and desperation, putting them in hell at that moment. The negative energy generated by an event like that would be Evil, or Satan

If you ask a thousand people this question, you will get a thousand different answers. God is ineffable. He is the one and only true creator of all that is seen and unseen. He is the judge of all souls. He is love. He is ineffable.
