I was really happy, because I felt like I was able to help somebody.

I started on Y!A on a very bored evening, when my girlfriend and I were just clicking around on the web a little. We asked some pretty ridiculous, obnoxious questions that night, mostly in Singles&Dating as I remember.

I think the answers made me laugh, but I'm sure they were all kinda angry answers. I remember the questions even, but they were too insulting to repeat here...

Don't remember the first best answer, but I'm sure it wasn't from that evening.

Edit: I was curious, I actually looked it up.

The question was "Lenra V Polo?" , I don't even know what that means. My answer was "It's a tie, dohh". I was the only answerer, and I won by votes. 1 vote.

That's pretty pathetic :)
Oh well.

actually, I didn't even know what Y!A was. I was on one of my other Yahoo groups and saw the ad in my screen at got curious that I could answer a question. I was given best answer for it. It took awhile to get any feeling response on what was happening here. I was just having a hayday answering questions and still am. Best answers feel good, you connected somehow.

It "made" me feel nothing. My feelings were caused by my reaction to the reward I was given for my contribution as the best answer. My ego was amused as it felt like I had accomplished and contributed to someone.
It is the same each time. I feel honored by those who appreciate what I have to say, when they write or when I receive the bonus points. I feel rewarded either way.

It felt terrific, for two reasons. It was the very first question that I answered plus it was on a subject which I, like most people, hold strong feelings - the greatest difficulties in life. The link below will take you to that question.

An x-ray reveals solid masses within the liquidity of your body. A CAT scan is more of a three dimentional snapshot of each segment of your body - much more revealing.

I felt Happy!!!

I'm happy to know that a few people in the world would stop and care to answer a stranger's question.
